Author's Note
The author has spent a little over two years (2006-2008) researching and collating the written lists on this site from nothing more than observing the english language, either in written or spoken form. Any similarity to other reproduced works (spoonerisms) found elsewhere online or in other printed material is purely coincidental. The author understands that facts such as spoonerisms 
are not copyrightable (i.e. it's a fact that one can transpose letters or sounds within one or more words) and surmises that it would be a nonsense to copyright spoonerisms, just as it would be to copyright a typographical error that just so happened to make someone smile!
On the subject of what is copyrightable on this web site, however–such things as: the look and feel of this web site (an original design marked-up by the author) and images other than those where the copyright has already been stated as belonging to another individual–these are the copyright of the author of this site and may not be used without prior written permission.
In researching and building content for this site the author has always felt inspired, as many often are with this type of word play, to research independently for the sheer joy of it. Consequently the authors time has not been spent seeking spoonerisms found elsewhere and it remains an ongoing challenge and a pleasure for this author to research and list quality original spoonerisms (hopefully there are a handful listed here that qualify…who knows?!).

Fix-It List and Updates
It's the authors intention to ensure that only the most entertaining spoonerisms remain on this site so there is a constant sifting process ongoing in all categories. The author has tried as hard as possible to keep this site 'family safe', if any reader spots off-colour terminology that they don't feel a young child should be exposed to, please let the author know about it.
